Taylor Swift has issued a warning of potential legal action against a student who tracks her private jet.

Pop star Taylor Swift's legal team has issued a notice to a Florida college student, Jack Sweeney, who monitors her and other celebrities' private jet activities. Sweeney claims he does so to monitor the carbon footprint of these high-profile individuals, as reported by The Washington Post.

Sweeney has been using his various social media accounts to track the movements of these personalities. He maintains that his intentions are not malicious and that he utilizes publicly available data for his tracking efforts. Notably, Sweeney's accounts do not disclose the identities of the passengers or their destinations upon landing.

Previously, Sweeney attracted attention when Elon Musk, the owner of X, accused him of sharing what Musk considered to be his 'assassination coordinates.' It's worth mentioning that Sweeney's accounts do not reveal the identities of the passengers or their destinations upon landing.

In December, Swift's legal representatives sent Sweeney a cease-and-desist letter, citing the tracking as a source of "direct and irreparable harm" to Swift and her loved ones, causing emotional and physical distress. The letter conveyed a sense of urgency, emphasizing the seriousness of the matter.

In response, Sweeney expressed his belief that the information he tracks is already public and criticized Swift's team for attempting to exert control over public data.

Around the time of the legal notice, Facebook and Instagram disabled Sweeney's accounts, citing violations of their privacy policies.

On a different note, Swift recently unveiled her new album, "The Tortured Poets Department," during the 66th Grammys, where she clinched the Album of the Year award for a record fourth time.
